DADAMAX was born officially in 2016 in Italy / Milan.
I used to embroider and transform vintage pieces since I was 13 because I loved to give a different image of clothes and have something personal and unique.
I lost my beloved Father in 2012 so I started to take all his wardrobe, made of blazers and suits, and transform it to make the right fitting and size to wear it.
I started with a black blazer that he used to marry my mother.
It was a it54 and I made it a it40 to wear it, then I did it with all his trousers and other blazers.
I embroidered them and cut and crop and transform and bleach and express my feeling through them.
I tought that other people could be in my situation and feel what I was feeling in that period so I decided to celebrate that moment and that love, creating Dadamax .
Dada is an Italian designer living and working in Italy but with one foot on the Moon.
She is a designer but first of all a dreamer and Her work takes inspiration especially from her dreams and visions.
THE AIM OF DADAMAX IS TO GIVE NEW LIFE TO MEN'S VINTAGE BLAZERS.
BLAZERS OF OUR FATHERS, GRANDFATHERS, MEN OF OUR HISTORY.
CUSTOMIZATIONS AND EMBROIDERED PORTRAITS CREATE NEW STORIES AND A NEW LIFE.

I have seen so many Blazers forgotten in the basements and in wardrobes.
I’ve always thought that was not their place because they DESERVES a second and even a third opportunity.
I’ve choosen Blazers because, as a garment, they have a strong history and a strong, unisex and timeless personality.
BLAZERS ARE FOREVER.>>
